This chalet is a real jewel in our crown: an ancestral home, beautifully positioned, elegantly designed and furnished with antiques. It gives the sense of space and well-being and is perfect for any activity one chooses to do in Chamonix.

The green door from the street level leads into the small hall with a ski & boot locker on the left. A flight of wooden steps leads to the main living area. There is a large dining room with round table and a beautiful antique chest with decorative plates. Next to it is a perfect kitchen, well-designed and stylish as well as functional. Along the corridor with a build-in wardrobe boasting antique doors at the end, there are two bedrooms on the left (one double, one for 3 people, one double & one single bed), one double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower on the right. There is also a spacious living room, beautifully furnished, with lots of light coming in through it’s three windows. All the rooms to the left of the corridor overlook a large terrace running along the length of the chalet; the terrace faces the large secluded private garden. From the dining room there is access to a further twin bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and sink. Over the dining room a mezzanine has a single bed, but further 3 simple beds could be added for children.

It is an old ancestral family home and the owners would like it to be treated with respect.
It sleeps 8 people very comfortably, but the number could be extended to 12 providing they are children. The dining table is for 8, so children will have to be fed before the adults.

The chalet is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Chamonix, Les Praz, where Lyon bourgeoisie used to spend their summers before skiing became a fashionable winter pass-time 20-30 years ago. It is excellently positioned for skiing, but also for numerous other activities Chamonix is famous for in all seasons, including hiking, climbing, adventure park, hot air ballooning, paragliding, summer and winter sledging, etc, the main winter activity here is skiing. A large secluded private garden looks magic covered in snow in the winter and joyful and luring in the summer for sitting and playing outside.
